ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Tamra.

I'm a nutrition therapist and chef with over 15 years of culinary experience. I help people improve their mental health, gut health, and overall well-being through realistic, evidence-informed nutrition.

My passion for nutrition began through my own mental health journey. Experiencing firsthand how nutrition and lifestyle can influence mood, energy, and overall health inspired me to learn everything I could about the connection between food and the brain. That experience ultimately led me from the professional kitchen into the world of nutrition, where I've dedicated my career to helping others feel better through sustainable, individualized nutrition support.

I graduated from the Nutritional Therapy Institute and am a board-certified holistic nutrition professional (BCHN) and a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. Alongside my nutrition training, my background as a chef allows me to bridge the gap between knowing what to eat and actually making it work in everyday life.

Today, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, digestive concerns, addiction recovery, hormone imbalances, low energy, and other chronic health challenges. My approach combines nutrition science, practical cooking skills, behavior change, and functional lab testing to better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.

I don't believe in rigid meal plans or chasing perfection. Instead, we'll work together to identify realistic changes that fit your lifestyle, support your goals, and help you build a healthier relationship with food. Whether that means improving blood sugar balance, supporting gut health, increasing energy, or simply feeling more confident in your nutrition choices, my goal is to give you the knowledge and tools to make lasting changes.

Nutrition is about so much more than weight. It influences how we think, feel, sleep, recover, and show up in our daily lives. My hope is to help you understand your body, feel empowered by your food choices, and create habits that support your health for years to come.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd love to work with you.
